Anurudha has been involved with the trading of resource commodities within China and the former Soviet Union for almost 20 years. These have been primarily related to the commodities of steel, coal and associated raw materials although he has also traded other bulk industrial commodities. He has several entities that are still involved in this field.
Since 2006 he joined Sindicatum Carbon Capital Ltd (SCC) as a founder member to develop their commercial operations in China in the Renewable Energy Sector. He is now developing projects in the energy and resource industries funded through his own capital raisings under the auspices of the Penfield Group Ltd.
Whilst at SCC amongst other landfill gas projects (LFG) he has successfully negotiated and contracted to implementation three of China’s most successful high profile emission reduction Coal Mine Methane Projects (CMM) projects. Duerpin Mine, Tunlan Mine and Malan Mine all owned by the Shanxi Coking Coal Group and are designed to capture methane gas, generate power in excess of 40MW, whilst reducing over a million tonnes of carbon emissions and generating close to one million CERs (Certified Emission Reductions) per annum.
Jim was President and CEO for KHD International based in Hong Kong a NYSE quoted corporation with a market capitalisation of US$1 billion and $800m of revenues. He has an extensive background in international, multi-cultural environments and emerging markets, with a deep knowledge of Mining, Energy, Capital Equipment, Process Plant Engineering, Construction and Natural Resource sectors.
Furthermore, he has a substantive record in M&A, business integration and value growth. James takes operational responsibilityfor the management of our engineering teams and plant selection and installation.
Han ran and operated Zheijang Trade UK Ltd, one of China’s Government International Trade Companies based in the United Kingdom and was responsible for the sourcing of much of China’s early capital equipment requirements across a number of industries including coal, shipping and petroleum but to mention a few whilst performing other internationally based functions for the Chinese government. He has significant relationships with Central Government and Beijing commerce. Han together with Anurudha Delgoda joined Sindicatum Carbon Capital Ltd as a founding member to open up its commercial operations in China.
Huon Matthews is an ex Accenture management and financial consultant with an engineering background. He was seconded full time to the Senior Management of British Petroleum in China. He then went on to join Sindicatum Carbon Capital (SCC) as its Senior Executive in China, before retiring from that post in late 2008. He has therefore had significant experience in the conventional energy sector as well as that of the renewable energy sector. His focus within China was to establish and setup SCC’s operations in conjunction with its local partners thus giving invaluable exposure to the development of biomass to energy programs, their execution and in particular to their related financial objectives, plans and designs.
